Even though this coaster is not actually from the Fox DeLuxe Brewing Co. of Grand Rapids, it still represents an important part of it's history. The Kiley Brewing Co. of Marion, IN (IN-99b) was purchased by the Peter Fox Brewing Co. of Chicago, IL (IL-111c) in 1942.  As part of this purchase, they obtained the Patrick Henry brand as part of the deal. If not for that purchase, there would have never been any of the varieties of Patrick Henry breweriana that have become so coveted by collectors of Michigan Breweriana.
