AB-II lists the Richter Brewing Co. as being a singular brewery with no successor. However, upon my research while visiting Escanaba last summer, I discovered that the Richter Brewing Co. went in the "beverage" business upon prohibition like many of the other brewers. This is supported by listings in the 1919-1925 Michigan State Gazetteers. It appears that it became the Delta County Bottling Works. After Prohibition's repeal, the brewery was re-opened as the the Delta Brewing Co. and survived until 1940.
